Brief notes on "The Assistant Minister of the Ministry of Justice's Tour"

I thought I was going to watch a light comedy based on deduction (?), but it turned out to be an epic tragic love story. (Not)

In terms of structure, the whole story is quite interesting. In my opinion, it follows a pattern of episodic drama forming the main storyline, but the cuts are a bit too fragmented, and the pace is rather slow. If the length is trimmed down further, it should be more compact and able to avoid the logical gaps left by unclear details.
Compared to "deduction," this drama is actually more adept at "lyricism." Each case intends to highlight the emotional impact within, emphasizing the "Whydunit" form, which briefly reminded me of the "Kindaichi" era of Jin Chengyang Sanlang, with a similar rich Showa color reminiscent of Yokomizo-sensei, focusing on the human heart and mind. It delves deep into the human heart by directly pointing to it. Unfortunately, "lyricism" requires "narration" as a foundation, and if the context is not clear, the emotional buildup can easily lose its foundation, which is weaker in the handling of this aspect in the drama.
I feel like this drama is like a picture that couldn't be displayed in the right proportions. It should have been a delicate little picture, but it was stretched and enlarged, making it seem compressed instead, although it still retains its basic charm, it always seems slightly distorted.

In terms of emotions alone, unexpectedly, what struck me the most in the drama was the sudden change of circumstances, leaving nothing behind, what else can I say. ╮(╯▽╰)╭
This drama is actually very beautiful. When I say "beautiful," I mean it in its original sense, not referring to a genre, but rather a belief in "beauty." If I had to describe this drama in one word, I think I would still say, it's "love." Led by the people of Dali Temple, this group is willing to believe in love, and therefore can love. The essence of love lies in belief.
Ironically, I actually don't believe much anymore. From the beginning of the drama, I thought: there is no such workplace. Let alone in the officialdom. This society is like a desert, where people have been exposed for so long that it's hard to believe there's still a drop of water inside to water a flower.
But deep down, they all have a well.

The strength of this drama lies mainly in character development. Although it could have been portrayed more deeply, the characters are already quite three-dimensional, with clear characteristics. The actors' interpretations are also quite on point, full of emotions, even cameo appearances leave a distinct impression.

This time, Ding'er's styling, I think the most beautiful is the white hair, followed by the youthful ponytail.
The crying scene with white hair was already revealed at the beginning of the film, instantly capturing my attention. XD Although it only appears for a moment in the main film, the child crying is really beautiful. Our child is really suitable for crying scenes, with such expressive eyes and brows, very moving.
The youthful ponytail is a bit like General Chu Kong, I really like this style, quite lively, super cute.
